Train knitting

Whatever plague I got, it doesn't go away. My friendly ENT doc told me on Saturday that if it doesn't get better, I'd better drop by someday. Parental units decided to go and check their summer house and the hospital where said ENT works is en route so they'll pick me. I need to get there on my own, though. And what if I had some time on my hands.

I have about eight works in progress as usual but most of them are in the stage of 3/4 of a sweater so not easily portable. The not 3/4 of a sweater is 3/4 kilos of a blanket.
I started this top a few days ago because I needed some small thing to go with reading in bed. I generally don't like yern in all the colours! because at a certain point, something starts to clash but oddly enough, this Noro's Silk Ruby seems to work without hacking out that beautiful but mismatched olive grey.

In other news, I started digging into the horrible Ravelry backlog of yarn pics. Yesterday, I spent three hours photoshopping - easy one, crop, poke the lights gently, shrink the image reasonably, save, exit - but it barely made a dent. A dent is better than nothing, though.
